Paul is an in demand voice teacher both in person in Portland, Oregon and online via Zoom.
Paul received his voice teaching certification from New York Vocal Coaching in 2025.
Because every student has their own unique voice, journey and goals, Paul will tailor each lesson to suit the needs and demands of each student. Whether it's increasing your confidence for karaoke night, getting ready to sing at a big event, or preparing for a musical audition, Paul's philosophy is to set each student up for success.
As a vocal teacher, they believe in the union of healthy vocal technique, mental focus, and emotional awareness working in harmony to produce a sound and experience that is vibrant, truthful and unique to each individual singer.
Topics covered include vocal health, vocal strenghtening and conditioning, audition technique, song interpretation, microphone and amplification training, audition and callback coaching and music preparation.
Paul’s previous masterlcass teaching experience includes Bridgetown Conservatory For The Arts, The Interlochen Arts Center, The New York Film Academy, Ann Arbor Public Schools, The Maltz Jupiter Conservatory for the Performing Arts, and The University of Michigan's Musical Theatre program.

Each lesson starts with a check in to discuss goals of the lesson, guided breathing exercises followed by vocal warm-ups and exercises, and concluding with work on specific repertoire chosen by the student.
Paul is a certified yoga instructor and incorporates elements of yoga into their lessons.
Beginning chord-based piano lessons can also be included.
